Base is hard packed and at least 18 inches thick along our entire trail system.

Trails are in Great Condition! We had flat tire on Kaleva groomer last night but it will be up and running later this evening/early morning. Have Fun , Use Common Sense and Enjoy the Ride !

Benzie Visitor Bureau – 2/24

Hi all! Back on the cold snow machine! After the rain last week it turned cold and we’ve gotten a few inches of fresh snow plus some serious winds too. The conditions from that make for a HARD packed and pretty smooth surface for the trails though! Groomers have been out and conditions are good!

We are in a cold snap again so bundle up in your layers! I heard a long term forecast today and it said COLDER than normal for about 5 weeks so we may get lots of our time out there yet! What a great year! Anyway, be safe, have fun, and I’ll see ya on the trails! Carol

Trail Report for the Weekend – Groomers have been out and the conditions have contributed to excellent hard packed base with a very smooth finish.

Groomers will be out all weekend long in every directions so watch for their lights and give them a thumbs for all of their hard work

Benzie Visitor Bureau – 2/20

Hi All! Well trails held up yesterday pretty good and conditions have been great but unfortunately we are looking at another day of warm and rain, ice and wind before a cold front comes back. We have lots of snow, the groomers have been out a lot and the base is a good solid 16-18′. BUT it can be deteriorating fast with rain and warm so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what this mini warm up is gonna do. It’s getting slushier as the day goes by. 🙁 So I will check in again tomorrow to let you know how we are hanging on! Fingers crossed and keep up the snow dance for another month plus!
