Benzie Area Trail Report – 02/22

Get out and RIDE our trails are AwE- InsPiring ! Full of snow, freshly groomed and ready to ride ! Base is now at a solid 8 inches in most locations, 20-24 inches of snow with drifting off trail. Groomers are out this morning and will be all day, as well as tomorrow. Forecast calling for more snow today and late tonight.

Benzie Visitor Bureau – 02/22

Hi all! It’s Friday! And shaping up to be a great weekend of riding! We have lots of snow and groomers are out there working! All of Trail 3 from High Bridge to Maple City was groomed Wednesday, Bear Lake spur and Club trail into Saddle Up groomed yesterday as well as Trail 39. Then ALL trails will be groomed again today! And again as we speak, its snowing with a system coming thru today. We’ve already seen abut 2′ and it’s supposed to continue thru the day! So – riding will be great this weekend! Base is good at about 8+’ with total snow accumulations 20-24′ + with drifting! So till next time! Be safe, be smart, have fun, and I’ll seeya on the trails! Carol

Benzie Area Trail Report – 02/20

Got Snow ? we do…our trails are in excellent condition, Groomer Guy Lanny just groomed Trail 3 from Kaleva to High Bridge and reports that even along the river we got a good 8-10 inches of fresh snow. Redneck Snow Stick shows 21inches packed and lots of flying fluff and drifting. Groomers will be out on Bear Lake Spur, Thompsonville to Beulah and Maple City connector today. Tonight and into early morning Trial 3 Kaleva to Thompsonville. Club ride today, meet at the clubhouse 10 a.m.

Hi all! Happy Hump Day! Trails are back in great shape after getting blasted with 6-10′ of new snow! Yeehah! Base is about 8′ with total snow on the ground at about 26′!Groomers are out this morning from Kaleva to High Bridge, Thompsonville to Beulah. Maple City Connector and Bear Lake Spur will be groomed this afternoon. Forecast is still calling for high winds, low temps and more Lake Effect yet. So, should be looking good for the weekend!
