Cadillac / Baldwin Area Trail Report – Wolf Lake Motel and Resort – 11/22

Latest Snow: forecasting light snow this week.Trail Report: Season opens December 1st.

Hi All, the trail maintenance is in process with new bridges, brushing, grading and flatting of the trails going on right now. IATA will keep grading and grooming the trails right up to when the ground freezes. This is why our trails are so great, the dirt is already flat BEFORE the white stuff comes, so as soon as it snows and the trails freeze, they are ready to go. If you have an ORV get up here this week or weekend, while the weather is so nice.

We are at the end of our ATV rental season and are getting the rental sleds ready for another great snowmobile season. December 1st isn’t all that far away right now. So if you don’t have your sled ready, when time comes to ride, just call us, ours will be ready to go.

We are members of the Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan, Baldwin Trailriders, Irons Area Tourist Association, Wellston Area Recreation and Tourist Bureau, Benzie-Manistee Snowbirds, Lake County ORV Club and the Michigan Snowmobile Association. These are the local grooming clubs, in which we help support all of your favorite sports. When I go to an area, I always buy the new map for the season from the local snowmobile or ORV club. Trails may change and so do the maps. But I always spend my hard earned money, only with the businesses that support my sport. All those advertisers on the Snowmobile or ORV Club maps are the people, that help make those trails possible for all of us to ride. Just my two cents.

We have rooms available for this week and weekend. Gas is only $3.01 a gallon, so what are you waiting for? We are snowmobilers too, and know if there isn’t enough snow to ride, I don’t want to ride in the dirt either, so if you reserve a room and there isn’t enough snow to ride, just give us a call and cancel your room with no penalties. But if there is enough snow we expect you to keep your reservation. If you need a room in this area, just give us a call toll free at 877 745 4101 or from a cell phone call 231-745-4101, office hours are 8am until 10pm and if we don’t have a room, we will try our best to find you a room, so call soon to get your room reserved or they will be all gone. We do have some discounts at the casino and a few local restaurants to save you even more money.

Check out the WOLFCAM for the snow totals.

. I CAN NOT SAY THIS ENOUGH, WEEKDAY RIDING IS THE BEST. SMOOTH TRAILS AND LESS TO NO TRAFFIC.

Summerize your sled because the snowmobile trails are shot and get the ATV’s out because the ORV trails are ready to go. Why not have some fun trail riding on our ATV, winter riding is a blast. Slippin and slidin is a lot of fun. You get to ride on snow, ice and mud all in one day. We have one of the largest ORV trail systems in the State, with over 200 miles of ORV trails, plus Steelhead are in the rivers right now, so bring a pole and plenty of fishing line. These fish are pound for pound the toughest fish swimming in Michigan.

We still have a couple rooms and On- site ATV rentals weather permitting. Call 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm.

Our Weekday Special for March, Sunday through Thursday is stay two days and get the third day free, No Fridays or Saturdays free. You must mention the specials at the time of the reservation and of course these specials are dependent on availability and can not be combined with any other offer.

Plus we are in the middle of one of the largest ORV trail systems in the state, so if the snow isn’t that great for snowmobiling, bring your ORV up and ride over 200 miles of ORV trails. PLEASE DON’T RIDE YOUR ORV ON THE GROOMED SNOWMOBILE TRAILS. There are plenty of open trails available for ORV riding. Don’t worry winter isn’t over for snowmobiling, but a winter ORV ride can be a blast too. If you don’t have a snowmobile or yours is broken, no problem, WE HAVE ON-SITE SNOWMOBILE RENTALS right here at the Resort. There is good snow in the woods, so two tracken and seasonal roads are a blast right now. (Which there are tons of). 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm

Call 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm. See ya soon on the trails.
