As of January 10th…
Warmer temps this week, along with forecasted highs of 40 through the weekend have taken a toll on the trails. The extended forecast for next week looks a bit better, with highs back down in the 20’s by Mon/Tue and possible lake effect snow. We need another good blast of snow before groomers can go back out and everybody can start to enjoy the trails again.

With around 18 inches of snow on the ground, groomers have been out, giving us a nice start to the snowmobile season.
DRUMMOND ISLAND SNOWMOBILE TRAIL REPORT – (12/27/12): Despite the snow depth(s) the trail system is still rough in several places. The west and east ends of the Island have been groomed but there are a significant number of water holes. We need more cold weather to firm these patches up. If riding the trails please ride them with caution!
