Ray’s Retreat – January 2
The trail was not groomed. So it was a little bumpy. We got off trail and had fun blasting thru the 8 inchs/more. I love love that.
The snow did arrive. We woke up to approx. 8 inches this morning. A beautiful sight, and its been snowing on/off thru the day. They are still calling for snow thru tonight. Its about time! and we were eager to get out on our sleds.
Went out this afternoon. The trails have not been groomed, but I don’t see any reason why they won’t be. There seems to be plenty of snow. We were surprised at the number of riders that were out there. Everyone so excited to finally have some snow to enjoy. We rode on trail 7 and then off trail thru woods and fields. So much fun plowing thru the deep mounds of snow. So pretty too.
If your sleds are ready, then its time to head north and enjoy the winter. We have ample trailer parking, along with a hot breakfast that is included in the room price. We are also renting snowmobiles again this year. Give us a call to make your reservation. 989-732-2703 or 989-732-4914.
