Northern Michigan is covered with white. Some places more than others. Right now we have about 5 inches of light fluffy snow. Its not enough to groom. They are still calling for lake effect next couple days so hopefully we can get enough to settle down on the trail and get the groomers out.
We are looking forward to getting our sleds out soon, and hope to see you too

December is almost here. The weather report is looking encouraging. It is mild tonight with rain coming in overnight, but it will be turning to snow and last weather report showed snow for several days. Hopefully it will give us our starting base for the trails.

We had good news today. We have had several inquiries about trail 4 and if they would still be able to ride to Lakes of the North. After several meetings we received the good news today that it is a definite YES.

There will be a small section that is going to be routed differently. Now that permission has been granted for that they will brush and sign that section immediately. We can all still enjoy our rides over to Lakes of the North and beyond.
