Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/19

We had snow most of the day yesterday. Many times it was coming down so hard visibility was zero. Which caused lots of problems on the roads and even riding on the trail. Definitely time to slow down.

We picked up at least another 6 – 8 inches of fresh white flakes by last night.

The riding was rough yesterday. Snowing and blowing meant the trails were not so smooth even though the groomer was out.

Today the groomer should be able to get those trails in good shape and its looking like the rest of the week is going to be quiet.

This is the time to enjoy riding … during the week!

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/17

Riders report trails were good riding the first part of the day. Rough riding as the day was turning to night. Bumps and loose snow. North of us – Harbor Springs area got hit hard with lake effect overnight. 12 inches! Traverse City, west of us was getting the lake effect today which will greatly improve riding in those directions. They are still showing 3-5 inches overnight and more tomorrow for us.
