Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/19

Gaylord trails continue to be groomed. After a weekend of high traffic with mild temps the snow is thinning. You will find part of the trail – especially in open high traffic areas showing snirt. Areas in the woods and even directly across from us look very good and just a bit off white. Riders report that with the colder temp the trail is staying firm and in decent condition. At this point we don’t see any snow in the near future.

If you have read this report, please don’t call asking about future conditions or future snow. We do not have a magic ball giving us this info. If anything changes on the trail conditions we will update this report. If there isn’t an update you can presume that trail conditions have not changed by much. Its your decision. Trail conditions are not anything to brag about…. yet they are still decent riding (for the most part and considering lack of new snow)

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/18

We did not get any rain where we are at… not sure about other areas. I know many of you were concerned about that and have called asking. There were a lot of riders out yesterday. Trails took a beating. The groomer has been running every day. There are spots of snirt. Even some areas that the snow is very thin. We cannot tell you exactly what the trail conditions are since we have not been on them ourselves. Right out front here looks good. It looks like there is a chance of snow today/evening.
