There is approximately a foot of snow where we are at…the trails are rough.
There has been no grooming. ….BUT we talked to the DNR and groomers will be out tomorrow (Thursday)!
That is great news. They should be able to go over them a few times before the weekend.
It is bitter cold. Dress warm and start making plans to come north and enjoy the winter.

Its difficult for me to judge the showfall amount with all the blowing and drifting. It has been snowing everyday. I was guessing we would be between 8 to 10 inches. I found a map showing snowcover in our state. It is showing us at 8 – 12 inches on the ground. If you would like to see this graphic for yourself this is the link:

There is plenty of snow for riding. As of this time (10 am Monday 1/5/15) we have not seen any groomers. Hopefully they will be starting in soon.
