Bitter cold temps are back with us this week. That will keep the trail in a good smooth state for your riding pleasure. Sunday and most of the day on Monday the Gaylord trails were not groomed. That along with the wind made for some not so fun conditions.
The groomer got back on the trail about 5 pm yesterday. Riders came back happy after their day trips. All reported that earlier in the day the trails were rough. Many snow drifts. The wind has died down. These cold temps will keep the trail smooth and firm.
WARNING — if you go off trail chances are very good that you will be stuck! We had several guests this weekend who did not heed this advice and spent a good part of their day huffing and puffing to dig out their sled.
