It is a prettier world up north. We got about two inches of fresh snow yesterday, a very light fluffy snow. It is incredibly cold this morning – 14 degrees! So if we’re going to be so cold (which it shows for the next 7 days) we need lots of snow to go with it.
A system is headed our way for Wed, with lake effect in the forecast for the following day. Let’s just hope, pray, wish and dream that it will bring us enough to get back onthe trails!

I guess you can figure it out – its 44 degrees, and sun shining brightly. We had light drizzle on/off yesterday. The trail is mud. Although directly in front of us we still have snow/ice for a short ways.
Its a sloppy mess around here. The yard and drive have about 5 inches of snow/ice. The woods too.
Good news – winter is set to return this evening, and besides turning colder snow coming in with it. We’ll have to wait and see if we can get enough to make the trails ridable soon.
More good news – the trailer with two sleds that was stolen last weekend up at Alanson has been recovered, although there is not much left of the sleds. They were parted out…
Keep encouraging Winter to return to northern Michigan. We want to ride and play in the cold and snow!
