So many riders! Trail conditions have been rough with all the riders. We definitely need several good inches of packing snow to improve the riding conditions. We heard from several groups that got off the main trails and enjoy some good riding on two tracks. Everyone is still having a good time…. but would like to see new snow to help the trails. Early morning riding seems to be the best…

There have been lots of riders on the trails. In fact, when I drove home from Gaylord yesterday I saw over 100 sleds along the trail heading south/north along Old 27. Now you know when there are that many riders all over the trails are going to take a beating. All said when they left in the morning the trails were great. They had been freshly groomed overnight. Return trips home on trails that had had snowmobile after snowmobile on them made the going rough.
Gaylord – December 27
Riders have been enjoying their rides. They are reporting some snirty areas closer to Gaylord. Had a group that rode over thru Jordan Valley yesterday and they loved it!
There is still plenty of snow. The corners and trails along the road show the wear and tear, as well as salt and dirt from the roads.
The trails have been cleaned up from the brush and debris from last week’s storm. There may be some low hanging limbs you have to dodge so keep your eyes open and alert. We are hopeful that next week as the trail traffic slows down we will get the opportunity to get out, ride and give you a first hand trail report. Until then please ride safely.
