Have you been watching the weather reports? Its hard not to be getting excited. Major storm heading our way! … Oh bring it on. Make it a perfect Christmas with a foot/more of snow. There is already a storm watch in place two days ahead of it. Hoping that will change over to a warning with major snowfall.

We took a spin last night before dinner on our sleds. We have just been so eager to get some snow we decided to take a short ride. It felt good to be on the sled. Tonight we did it again.
There was snow enough to enjoy getting out. There is not snow enough for trails to be groomed.
We got two inches of new snow overnight. So there’s about 6 inches. Definitely not enough for any grooming of trails. But enough to just get out a bit for fun. Its a very fine sugary snow at this point. Pictures can be seen at my blog from tonights ride. The trail itself was bumpy/rough but we were able to ride along the sides where it was much more smooth going.

The forecast is calling for temps in high 30’s next few days. Then some kind of a storm. Not sure if its going to be snow/rain/or mix Sat evening into Sunday. Hoping it’ll be all snow, snow, snow! Its time for the cold fronts to be more powerful.
