MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> 03/07
A full run was made last night. The trail was really drifted in spots from the storm. We did what we could. It may not hold up great today because of all the soft snow, but after tonight’s groom, it should be really good. There are some bad water spots between Carlsend and Little Lake to watch out for. They can be rather deep as well. Please use caution in this area. There were many sleds out riding last night, and I am sure there will be plenty more over the weekend. Please be safe out there as it looks to be a busy weekend. Other than the water spots, the trail is looking really good. Ride right, lead right, have fun, and be safe out there.

Lows tonight will fall into the single digits over the interior western sections of Upper Michigan. Power outages caused be the ice storm continue over portions of south-central Upper Michigan and may last through the night. Yesterday was rain and ice most of the day! Today is wet snow/wintery mix and we've probably got about 3" inches on the ground although, hard to tell because it packs right down. It is snowing really good right now (see videos in the comments). Ice storm warning us in effect until 8pm tonight. Trail 8 is pictured off of H15. If you made it up for the weekend, hopefully you're riding today! There is still enough snow to ride up here! #munising #snowphotos

Heavy snow and a wintry mix moves back in, persisting through Sunday before a change over mainly to light snow Sunday night. The heaviest snowfall will be across the western UP, Keweenaw, and the higher terrain of the north-central UP.
