Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 02/13
KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – Good morning Kruppers! – Well now that so much of the big lake is froze it sure has shut off the LES snows here in Kruppy’s backyard!
If you look at our official snow amounts in the pic I’m sharing you will see we have been getting dustings instead of inches!
On a positive note this god awful cold is getting behind us finally!
We have a shot at 40 tomorrow and Saturday and Sunday in the mid 30’s otherwise we are looking forward to normal temps which makes for frostbite Free riding!
As far as new snow we are hoping for a bit next week to freshen things up but we need that ice to break up or maybe a meteorite hit the big lake and get it opened back up!
I rode out to Wolf Point on Saturday and the lake looks like your on the moon!
Should be a great week of riding!
Groomers are out and the base is good!
Off trail is awesome too “if you can find some untracked spots”
We need some new pow back there!
Have a great day and get after it!
