Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – Krupp’s Resort – 12/21

Good evening Kruppers!
Well today was a snowy day!
We had whiteout conditions at times,
Picked up an inch in under an hour and approx got a half a foot of new snow today!
The forecast is looking a bit sketchy in the days ahead!
Could maybe have a bit of rain even!
John Dee’s forecast is showing Pink on his graphic forecast for Christmas and the day after so 12+ new snow which would be AWESOME!
Those traveling for Christmas or vacations up here in the north woods please be safe
Sweet dreams

Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 12/20

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open and in fair to good condition.

You can now cross under the Portage Lift Bridge. The mat is scheduled to go down this week.

Trail 122 is closed for logging. You can use Trail 124 to get to Gay.

Any trail usage should be done with extreme caution as there are wet spots, rocks, stumps, branches, and other hazards that have not been identified.

Please remember to watch out for the groomers when your’re out on the trails. They have the right away. Use caution around logging areas.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for riders’ safety so please DO NOT remove or destroy them
