The snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open, and groomers are out working on them. Trails are reported to be in good to very good condition except for the High Rock trail which is in fair condition due to low snow.
Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails…….they have the right of way!!
There is logging on a short portion of Trail 133 between Gay and Lac La Belle.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.

It is a beautiful sunny day on the Keweenaw today. Blue skies (haven’t seen them for awhile) and temps around 20. A perfect day to be outdoors – snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, or just enjoying. You can get info on all of these activities at keweenaw.info. (If I had a camera that worked I’d take a picture! – anyone out there who can help.
