What age did your kids start riding with you?
It’s always awesome when you can share the love of snowmobiling with your child(ren)!
Mitchell Hansen and his wife were able to bring their 4 year old daughter up to ride the Keweenaw this weekend! They definitely planned their trip perfectly with awesome conditions!
Mitchell shared these photos and said, “Trails were absolutely phenomenal this past weekend! Huge thank you to the groomers. Myself, my wife and my four year old daughter had a blast! This was her first time out on the trails with the wife and I! Start them young!”
We love these photos and the fact you were able to experience such awesome conditions for your daughters first time out on the trails! Memories that will last a lifetime for sure! Thanks for sharing!
Megan Renee Olson and family were also up riding this weekend. They started from Watersmeet and said the trails were great. Megan said, “Our kids started around age 2. We started bringing them up north at age 3. Now kids are 4 and 6 😀. We had great trails this weekend and took the kids to Bond Falls! 13 was iffy started to get whoops headed back to Watersmeet. Trails
3 and 8 were glass!”

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Moderate to heavy snow at times moves into the southern sections of the U.P. late tonight and continues into Monday morning. Hazardous travel conditions are expected for the Monday morning commute! The heaviest snowfall is expected over Menominee County. Lesser snowfall amounts are forecast for the north half of the U.P. and the Keweenaw should remain dry. Gusty westerly winds remain possible over the Keweenaw tonight. Pretty much every trail was groomed last night so get out and enjoy the western UP today. If you're on trail 3 in Twin Lakes stop in the Parkview Lodge & Grill were you'll find Stretch starting at 1:00. Your trip to tha UP won't be complete without some Western UP Trail Reports swag.
Don't forget to get Groomer Tracker so you can see what trails are groomed.

After a heavy day of traffic, our first team member is headed out to knock down some moguls and get those trails flat for everyone. We’ve heard of several close calls today alone, please slow down and use some caution. We want you to make a return visit! Ride right, safe and sober!
