KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> Did you know that Copper Range Railroad abandoned the corridor in 1972 and the DNR took over in 1974 allowing us to have the trails for use! Many spots you can see what is left of the mining days! We average 300” a year of snow & we are past half way! There are times I & other have rode sleds into May! Ideal in May, maybe not but still enough to ride haha Trails do close April 1st, tho you can ride trail 3. Krupp’s Resort is open all year long, come visit! 🇺🇸⛄️❄️ www.kruppsresortmi.com Kruppy Cam kpr.uarhelp.com:6001/jpg/image.jpg... #keweenaw#snowphotos... See MoreSee Less

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – 12/30
Got my first run in for the year!!!! Had so much fun!! We left Krupp’s Resort headed north, trail 3 to trail 17, ate lunch at Michigan House in calumet and decided to head back to see how riding south from the resort was. Ended up riding trail 13 to Greenland stopping at The Pit Stop and then 3 north back to the resort. The ride back was a bit bumpy but the groomers were out! Otherwise trails were awesome, thank you to all those that work on the trails! The day was so nice out and I was so happy to ride with these friends! I’ve known them for years and was so happy to finally join them for a ride! Hope everyone can get out and enjoy the outdoors!! Have a great day everyone!
