TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> Yay, it’s the weekend!
After a couple of warmer days it’s nice to report trails are still in decent shape overall. Luckily, the nights have been cold enough to help save much of the snow, and groomers were even able to get out last night. Certainly some thin and patchy spots here and there, but overall trails are in better shape than expected- better than practically anything we had all of last season. Nice cold day to ride, good day to get out there.
Open today, 2/1, and serving lunches noon to 5pm. We also have a goulash and garlic toast special and a bowl of chicken noodle soup or chili with a grilled cheese special going today. Comfort foods to warm you up!
Open tmrw, 2/2, and serving lunches noon to 3pm.

Accumulating snow reenters the weather picture later Saturday night into Sunday morning. The snow may end as a period of light rain or drizzle Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> After the warm temperatures and melting snow during the day today (Thursday)...temperatures will drop off rapidly after sunset. This will lead to any wetness re-freezing on area roadways, which could lead to icy roadways and/or black ice formation tonight through Friday morning. Back roads, which became slushy today will refreeze as well, leading to complicated driving conditions.
