Traverse City Trail Report – 01/12
TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf – No doubt about it, we would love to see some more snow. It’s been a strange season with snow, warm ups, rain, more snow and ice. But groomers went out last night as trails desperately needed to be packed down and smoothed out from the ruts and ice build up. Groomer drivers reported that trails groomed up much better than expected. There is a decent amount of snow in the woods. Overall trails are in fair shape- fairly hard packed with some icy spots and on the thin side, but more covered than not. Nowhere near perfect but about the best we’ve seen yet this season.
