Expecting some morning showers and rumbles of thunder to give way to some breaks in the clouds at times. A few showers or storms may try to redevelop in the afternoon, any of which could enhance already gusty winds of 40 to 50mph. Winds will pick up late tonight, and especially Saturday, as an unusually strong system approaches the area. Expect gusty winds and a few rumbles of thunder on Saturday before a strong cold front moves through and drops temperatures back Saturday night into Sunday.
