Traverse City Trail Report – TC WebGuide – 01/14
Lake effect snow is falling and groomers are grooming. Trails are in good shape… some areas still have a thin base.

Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 1/13
We picked up about 5-6″ yesterday, and despite all the surrounding counties being under some sort of advisories or warnings, and Grand Traverse county with nothing, we have still picked up another 3″ tonight so far and it is still snowing! Friday has a little warm up, with highs around 37, but then the rest of the weekend has cold with more snow forecasted. Groomers are running daily and will continue to until further notice. I rode the entire system today, trails were smooth, and rock hard. Off trail was also good. Better snow over to Kalkaska, as usual for off trail play. No snirt anywhere! We have about a 4-5″ base, with 7-12″ of powder on top ( off trail) . I am going to upgrade our conditions to GOOD! Finally! Maybe next week we can upgrade everything to Good-Excellent! Get out and enjoy, its setting up to be great weekend of riding!
