Update
Warm temps most of the week and our last snow storm was a bust. But with that being said we are still grooming what we can. Conditions from St Ignace to Moran are thin but passable. We did groom this section last night.
Conditions from Moran north are still good with no major issues to report. Next weeks weather looks to be warm so when our conditions change we will update at that time.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> A much cloudier day over the UP compared to yesterday! Light snow showers have been observed today with only a half inch so far at the office here in Negaunee Township. Despite the light nature of the snow, it has been efficient at reducing visibility, with below 1 mile visibility being reported at some locations this morning, so take caution while traveling today! #miweather #keweenaw #westernup #marquette #munising #seney #newberry #soo #straitsarea

Snow accumulations today will be an inch or less, except 1 to 2 inches in the high terrain of Baraga and Marquette counties. The snow showers will diminish later tonight. Attention then turns to a widespread system snow that will develop from west to east across Upper Michigan later Saturday afternoon and evening. The snow will continue Saturday night, then diminish during Sunday morning. Snow accumulations across Upper Michigan by late Sunday morning should range from 2 to 5 inches. Trail update
Everything is being groomed on a as needed basis. We are mostly flat and in good shape. The only issue to note is we do not have a big base on the rail road grade from Moran to St ignace. It is currently passable with a few thin spots and might get worse as the weekend gets busy. Our next snow chance comes on Saturday night. Overall you can expect a good ride in our area.
