22 degrees this morning and sunny. Yesterday was a total blizzard UP here so this sunny day is kinda welcomed. Gonna take me most of the day to clean up.

This past weekend was crazy busy UP here. Haven`t seen that much traffic on the trails in a long time. They got pretty beat up Sat. but we were out in full force with the groomers, all 3 of them, all night long. We also had alot of law inforcement in town because people were just going crazy….flying through town on the town trail and down M-123 through town. We had one groomer get hit head on and I groomed Sat. night and got hit in the drag 3 times. COME ON PPL., SLOW DOWN ON BUSY WEEKENDS!!!!!! Take you`re time and have fun and be safe. I heard the law was writing tickets for ppl. doing stupid stuff. I know this is gonna get all over the internet saying Paradise doesn`t want ppl. here and they will write you a ticket for anything. Simpley NOT TRUE!!! We love the snowmobiliers here, just quit doing stupid stuff!!! Thats all I got to say about that.

Like I wrote above, the trails took a beating last weekend but we got em back in shape. All trails are rated at least good, even the south swamp, and some on the better side of good. Next weekend is a holiday weekend so its gonna be busy again so PLEASE don`t come UP and go crazy again. The law WILL be out in full force. It looks like the weather will cooperate for another week UP here but a warm up is coming according to the weather guessers…..we`ll wait and see.

18 degrees this morning, cloudy and windy. It did snow all day yesterday but its hard to tell how much cause of the wind. I`m gonna call it 6 inches in the last 24 hrs. just to put a number on it. We are under a winter weather advisory all day today and ‘they’ are calling for 3-6 inches more. Now…..on to all the good news I got fer ya`s….

The test run on our broken groomer went perfect….so shes back on the trail and we are up to 3 machines like normal!!!! I know our trails have not quite been up to par ( at least in my book ) but not no mo….we are back to full strength!!!!

Groomer Dave ran south yesterday and went into the swamp for the first time. He called that section fair…no open water but alittle choppy…just don`t go flyin through there. The rest of the trail he called really good.

Groomer Mike ran trail #8 to Pine Stump and called that really good but the drifting in the burn area is nuts. Be careful in the open areas.

Groomer Gerald got elected to run a short trip for the test on the fixed machine. He did the loops back and forth from the barn to town. They turned out good and the machine ran PERFECT!!!

As far as the schedule for today, the only thing I know for sure is I`m heading to the Falls. I`m hoping somebody hits the Point Trails…just not sure and I`m not gonna tell you something thats not true.

All I gots fer today!! This weekend is gonna be great!!! LET ER SNOW!!!
