33 degrees this morning when I got outa bed at 7, its 10am now and 43 and sunny. Its supposed to get close to 50 today and continue to get warmer the rest of the week. Needless to say our trails are going fast. Me thinks they won`t last until this weekend. All trails were groomed last night so here`s the run down……

Groomer Mike ran the south trail #8. The swamp is holding but he thinks by the end of today or tomorrow it will be closed. The rest of the trail is fair to good.

Groomer Steve ran the Falls trail #45 and called it fair.

Groomer Gerald ran the Pine Stump trail #8 and called it fair to good. The couple of plowed dirt roads that we use are down to mud now.

Groomer Woody ran the Point trails #452 and #453 and called those good but the plowed dirt roads on those trails are down to mud also.

So there you have it. I kinda think the end of the season is upon us. It sure was a short season this year….bummer. We may spot groom a couple more times but I think we`ll be done shortly. 28 degrees this morning and cloudy. It got down to the low 20`s last night so the trails will hold up for now. Looks like its supposed to get into the 30`s and low 40`s for next week and night time temps above freezing. This will take out the trails fast. All trails were groomed last night and this is the run down……

Groomer Mike ran south. The swamp is OK for now but a few pot holes are opening up. You can get through there no problem but slow down and watch for more holes to open up. The rest of the trail he rated as good.

I ran the Falls trail. It was beat up bad cause of the heavy traffic but came out in good shape after I got done.
Groomer Loren ran the Pine Stump trail and reports the same as above.

Groomer Woody ran the Point trail and says the same.
If you are thinking about coming UP this week you should be good to go. It doesn`t look like we will get alot of rain….but who knows….I`m not a weather guesser. All trails are gonna get groomed again today to clean up from the heavy traffic from the weekend.
