Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 01/07

We will resume grooming tomorrow afternoon/evening. Trails remain in good condition with some fair to poor spots where we have water issues. We received 2-3" of wet heavy snow, which came after light freezing rain and was followed by light mist/drizzle. Not terrible, but not good. We are expecting 4-8" of snow this week before the weekend, so trails should be even better this weekend! Remember to support our sponsors!

Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 01/06

Trail 2 was groomed from Bessemer to Marenisco and trail 8 was groomed to Tula turnaround last night. Thanks to our dedicated operators who worked 7pm-5am this morning getting it done for you guys. Trails overall are rated as good, but icy in spots with some sections rated fair.

We had numerous trail projects completed this late fall and used up early November snowfall leaving them thin in spots. Grooming will cease for awhile tomorrow, they are calling for rain. Hopefully it stays away!
