IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/06
Snow picked up early this morning. 6in was down around 10pm. Several more since then. Seemed like more snow south and east. We have a lot of work to do. Trails have many early season hazards, riding not endorsed at this time. 28 DEGREES at 4am yet.

Trail 11 is good at this time.
Trail 160 is moderate to good at this time. Still rocky but it is improving!

LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming >> Marenisco area crews out burning the midnight oil and getting all of our trails ironed out and smooth before the weekend. All of Trail 1 between M28 southward to Presque Isle was completed this evening and is in great condition overall. #lakegogebic #westernup #snowphotos

Lake effect snow develops overnight bringing a heavier snowband into Alger county early Thursday. LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming >> Bergland Area Groomer's Report for 2/11/25. COLD!! 🥶
Trail's covered tonight. 13n, 1n, 8w, 8e, Hoop n Holler and 102. Traffic has calmed a bit and the trail's are holding up much better now. We would like to see everything in our system covered nightly but this season has been challenging finding driver's. If there's anyone locally looking for work with experience running a Bully 400 contact Greg @ 309-208-8624. We have at least 5 to 6 weeks left of the season, if not more?? Otherwise we'll keep doing our best and hope everyone enjoy's their experience riding in our area. ❄️❄️❄️ #lakegogebic #westernup #snowphotos
WATERSMEET - WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club >> Groomer Update 2/12/25- Both Groomers are up and running. Our whole trail system was groomed yesterday. Trail conditions have remained the same. We have thin spots and really good spots. If you are enjoying our trails consider JOINING our Club
