Antrim County Trail Report – Jordan Valley Trails Council – 12/17

Well in this industry no new usually isn’t good news, that’s the current situation! Yesterday was 42*, Tuesday/Wednesday is predicted to be 40* as well 🤬. If your planning to come ride next week your going to want to make plans elsewhere it looks. Rain and maybe 6” of snow following. We’ve maybe got 6” on the ground and most of the grooming equipment is still sheltered by the trees.

On a positive note shout out to groomer Jim for doing some extra preventative maintenance on the PB yesterday!

Also like to big a big thank you to our local contact at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources John D. for his exceptional dedication to us taking some extra time with the USDA trappers clearing out more beaver dams and eradicating more of those varmints! In the spring they will be back at it, this will save the snowmobile program A LOT of money we waste clearing dams and culverts!
