Antrim County Trail Report – Jordan Valley Trails Council – 02/17

It’s Friday……. unfortunately after 5 days of the same forecast it looks like it’s going to be accurate and it’s upon us.

There have been many talks amongst our groomer coordinators and we have a few tentative plans to try and extend the riding.

Unfortunately it appears this weather is going to stick around for 7-10 days. Be cautious as the weather warms up, the hazards appear and wet spots form.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE as the snow melts away be cautious as to where you are riding, trespassing has gotten worse as this season has gone on!!!!

Winterfest @ Lakes of the North is this weekend, stop by and enjoy the freestyle exhibition show and support our friends at the Antrim County Snowmobile Club who will be selling food under the tent! Be safe and ride responsibly!

Antrim County Trail Report – Jordan Valley Trails Council – 02/10

All trails as of this morning have been groomed within the last 12-15 hours.

Just spoke to groomer Mike in the Valley and he stated that trails are thin in spots but pretty good considering the weather recently. In the areas where its thin on snow it is ICE underneath.

This week we’ve received 8-10′ of fluffy stuff around the area so some spots will be much better than others.

At this point I’d rate the trails as ‘fair to good’ only because of the lack of snow on top of the ice.

Visit the Antrim County Snowmobile Club Saturday 2-4 for Mike’s Annual Weenie Roast – complimentary hot dogs, bonfire and friends!
Also as a winter long the East Jordan Sno-mobilers have their Sunday breakfast!

Remember we groom 24-7 as conditions warrant. Please be aware around the next corner could be a groomer! Ride safe, ride sober, support businesses that support us and have a great weekend!!!!
