Antrim County Trail Report – Jordan Valley Trails Council – 01/26
Happy Tuesday snowmobilers!!! Trails have been upgraded to “Good” condition!
We received a nice shot of 5-6″ of wet heavy system snow to put on top of the 3-5″ of base that will greatly benefit the trails this week as the groomers process it, we’ve unfortunately been working the same snow for almost 2 weeks, so by this weekend there should be some fabulous trails!
Spoke with Frank the groomer today as he was in the Jordan Valley this morning and said trails were setting up awesome! THANKS FRANK FOR YOUR HARD WORK!
We had a groomer down that is stationed out of East Jordan but the crew from Bader and Son have us back up and running, so all 3 groomers are laying tracks. You will find a short section between Old State Road and Webster Bridge Road on Trail 4 ungroomed.
The swamp just isn’t freezing up enough to send the groomer through there at this point. Other than that small issue groomers are running, trails are flat, get on the sled and RIDE!!!!!! Be safe and give a thumbs up to those hard working groomer operators!
