Let me give you some advice. Never loan a rachet to an Arctic Cat owner. So this guys comes and says can I borrow a rachet and a 1/2 inch socket. Sure, here you go. I’ll be back in a minute…… this was at 3pm still waiting for it to be returned. Hey Arctic Cat guy … Peegeo’s is the other way. Well lesson learned. Don’t trust anyone.. Unfortunately I won’t be too quick to help the next guy. Too bad you can’t just expect someone to keep his word anymore, even on something as simple as this.

OH! THE TRAILS ! we had about 5 inches overnight last night probably another 3-5 today. Mostly lake effect but we will take it. Most of our renters said the trails were in pretty good shape. We did see a ton of traffic again through the parking lot today so I imagine they did take a bit of abuse. Nobody has seen the groomer. I imagine they will be out tonight to smooth things out to finish off the holiday weekend. There is a bit of ice on some of the corners under the fresh powder so be careful out there.

Rode over 100 miles yesterday, the trails have held up well. Today we did see a ton of traffic as well over 100 sleds rolled in and out of Peegeo’s. The trails are likely to take a beating with this sort of traffic. We are in need of some snow to make everything all pretty and white. Forecast calls for up to 5 inches overnight with snow in the immediate forecast. Lets hope so as we could use some new snow. The trails overall still hold a pretty good base. Some of the corners are a bit icey and slick. Powerlines and trails into all the hotspots on the trails are getting a bit snirty. Overall, good ridng continues in Traverse City. Please trust this trail report it is current. No need to call me for a up to the minute report. I will update tomorrow if things change.
