Had a chance to ride the loop today with some friends today. Trail 5 and 55 are holding up well considering the amount of riders we had in the area. The staging areas were loaded with big trucks and trailers with happy die hards ready to get back out and ride. More snow is expected throughout the week combining with cold temps, looks like a few great weeks of riding to come. Bring a friend up and ride. Snowing like crazy!
Over 10 inches already today in Kalkaska, about 5 in Williamsburg into Traverse City. George was plowing the parking lot at Peegeo’s with what looked to be about 5 inches of fresh snow. The trails should be in great shape for the weekend with more snow expected through Saturday afternoon. Up to 10 more inches of lake effect in the forecast for the area. Just what we needed to get back out on the trails. We are renting sleds for the weekend so give us a call.
