Yes, they’re riding in the Munising, MI area!
Trails are groomed from the 440 north. Snow is rideable south of there, but ungroomed. All riders that have been in the last couple of days reporting trails in excellent shape in our area.
Temperatures forecasted in the upper 30s this weekend, but with up to 3 feet in the woods, should be a beautiful weekend to ride!

I guess it is early in the season, but writing this report is painful. Everyone’s ready to ride but we just don’t have the snow yet. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if we didn’t have mounds of snow just a few weeks ago. So here we are. There is some good news to report–2 inches of heavy snow fell yesterday! All of the outdoors is blanketed in clean, white snow as of this morning. The snow started early yesterday afternoon and tapered off into the evening. We’ve got dark skies today so we’ll see if we’re lucky enough to get some more white stuff. The other thing to watch is the temperature. Let’s try to keep that down under freezing…Might as well go get your holiday shopping done while you wait for the snow to arrive. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated with the latest on developing conditions on these wonderful Indian River trails…
