About 2′-3′ of new snow fell Friday morning in the Big Rapids area giving new life to riding the White Pine here. There’s an ice base underneath. Temps are forecasted in the mid to upper 30’s on Saturday and Sunday.
The White Pine trail is the former Railroad track stretching from Rockford to Cadillac. Not a challenging trail, but great for families with many towns to visit along the way.

Nothing new to report this morning…The weather and conditions have not changed much from yesterday. It’s not as cold as it’s been so riding will be very comfortable today. Looks like we have some snow moving in this afternoon–accumulations will be 1-3′. Looks like we might see some wind too. The weekend looks like scattered flurries and temps around freezing or slightly above. Here’s to another great riding weekend!
