With a busy weekend our trails took a hit. With groomers down our trails are in poor to fair condition with the exception of Watersmeet area.
Temps for the next couple of days the highs will be in the 20’s with lows in the teens and cloudy with a chance of snow.
The Gogebic Range Trail Authority Groomers Report:
All three groomers are down. All trails are in poor condition except for Trail 8. Trail 8 was groomed on the 19th and is fair condition to Tula. They are hoping to have one groomer up and running on Wednesday and one up and running on Thursday. With a busy weekend and little warmer weather our trails got bet up. So hang in there they will get back out and groom and soon as they can.
Lake Gogebic Groomer’s Report:
Trails are in poor to fair condition with some rough spots. Couple of the groomers are down and the trails will be groomed as soon as they get the groomers up and running. Again with the busy weekend the trails took a beating.
The Watersmeet Groomer’s report:
With the busy weekend groomers were not able to get out and groom with all the traffic. They were supposed to go out last night but I have no official word. Overall trails are good to very good.
Please follow the orange barrels and stay on trail going across Cisco Chain.
Please remember groomers are out both day and night, so watch for them, please pull over or at least slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by whenever you see them. Groomers have the right of way.
JUST ONE MORE REMINDER: PLEASE STAY ON MARKED TRAILS. RIDING ON UNMARKED TRAILS CAN RESULT IN THE CLUBS LOSING EASEMENT FOR THAT TRAIL AND IT CAN ALSO RESULT IN A POSSIBLE TICKET FOR YOU.
