FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 03/03 Things havent changed. Once again I am sticking with poor conditions but I am still surprised at the people out riding. Already had one group in here and its now 11:30. Riders want to ride and they are doing it even in these conditions. Hard and Icy, pics below I just took outside here at Sledheads. Still alot of snow in the woods, its the trails that are gravel laden. We just have to deal with it. Not a flake of new snow here overnight and the big storm for downstate hasnt hit yet. O.k. Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line. After Thanksgiving, a large portion of the U.S. will likely see below normal temperatures into early December. And of course, there's southern Florida. 🌞
