Benzie-Manistee Snowmobile Club – 12/12

Trails are open. Groomers are out panning the trails. We have 6 inches of slush and 8 – 10 of snow. We have had up to 18 inches of snow in the past 24. **WARNING – Slow down RIDE at a safe speed, as curves maybe ICY, we had a few casualty’s on our Michigan trails last year!! Trails are ZERO tolerance, so please ride sensible. Use common sense on the lakes, when in doubt don’t ride about. Weather forecast: We are to get more snow and winds.

Benzie Visitor Bureau – 12/10

Hi all! GOOD NEWS! We’ve been getting some good snow for the last several days! Some areas 4 inches and some more than 18! It’s SNOW TIME BABY! Now we are under a storm watch for Saturday to Monday for another possible 10 inches! So yay! Its just gonna get better! Cold temps coming midwekk too so watch the weather and bundle up in those layers! Groomers are out and have panned everything EXCEPT the East loop in the center that just doesn’t have enough snow yet! The base is starting to firm up nice but we need more snow so keep up the dance and cross the fingers! Gas up, and get out and enjoy! Remember its that early season kinda rideable! Do me a favor PLEASE so we can keep ALL parts of the trails open for us. STAY ON THE TRAIL! This means YOU! Its not just a given that we get every inch of trail for our fun. We gotta stay on track at all times! And by the way, those groomers are out there are doing US a favor too, so if ya see one, get outta their way and give them a thumbs up as they go by!
