Seney Trail Report – 12/05
SENEY AREA UPDATE via Mater’s Stop -N- Go Gas Station – 12/05 Today in the life in Seney. We did get about six more inches. It’s super fluffy.. The groomers got back from the run to the Bear Trap. This is a bad spot on Trail 8 between Creighton Creek Rd and Long Lake Rd. This water hole is deep and impassable. The rest of the trail is in good shape. We tried to fill it in but water is flowing through it. Hazardous driving conditions are possible, particularly on snow covered and untreated surfaces away from the Great Lakes. Higher terrain locations away from the Great Lakes may remain below freezing tonight where a light glaze may form. Areas of dense fog are expected in the central sections of the U.P., with Dense Fog Advisories hoisted into early Friday morning.
