I did have one guy that parked outside yesterday and he said he rode 120 miles and had a good ride. I should have went with him. Lets see what the next few days bring. Thanks for checking in. A few sleds out and about but its going downhill from here. I ended up riding yesterday to Grayling and then one lap around Lake Margrethe for a total of a 40 mile ride. Its 10:45 a.m. and we have about an inch of new snow this morning. Nothing fell overnight. There was barely any sled traffic both saturday and sunday around Frederic. They say we are going to get a few inches today but there is still forcasts of warmer temps coming. I was hoping for a 3 or 4 inch thick snow by about noon so I could go out and try to take a ride. As stated with our earlier posts, the precip types should be a snow/sleet mix as you head north of the I-96 corridor. The Saginaw Bay, Thumb and northern half of the lower peninsula should remain all snow.
The tricky part is the snow and freezing rain potential south of I-96, including the I-94 corridor. As of this post, icy roads have shut down portions of I-94 west of Jackson.
