CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 12/12 New Snow Last 24 Hr: 4-8" Hello – We got 4-8" of new snow … the first few inches were a heavy, wet snow. The groomers will start again tomorrow to try and pack some things in. We lost most of the base from the warm-up earlier this week, but some areas kept ice underneath. Do be careful riding, as it’s still early season and there could be ruts underneath. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat.
