KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western UP Trail Reports – 12/13
I had to make a trip south today so I took some pics along the way. You can see the difference from Toivola to Rhinelander Wisconsin. South of Rhinelander is just a dusting of snow. If you’re traveling north drive safe it’s a different world up here in the Yoop.
KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports >> Where did you ride this week? Let us know how it was! Plans to ride this weekend? W🤩W! What a week it has been! Definitely the busiest weekday riding we have EVER seen! SO many sleds! Every other rider and employees at businesses along the trail that we talked to, said the same thing! Ben Anderson and crew, from Minnesota, were up riding this week and shared these photos with us. Ben said, “Another great trip to Michigan...trails were great in the morning and trashed by evening...never seen this many people here riding during the week but groomers still did a damn fine job!” Groomers were out last night smoothing the trails back out! Please download the Groomer Tracker app and subscribe to the club(s) where you ride! This will provide you with up to the moment grooming operations! Heading into what is certain to be another busy weekend, we would like to remind riders to Ride Right, Ride Sober, Ride Safe & Lead Right! #keweenaw#snowphotos... See MoreSee Less

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Snowmobile Club >> Our trails took a BEATING today with the warm up, we have a full team headed out to hit everything and get it flattened back out for everyone. Please keep in mind we are seeing 100s of sleds on our grooming runs in the middle of the night - this gives very little time for things to set up. Give the guys a wave if you see them out! Too bad that color is 40-50 inches, not 50-75 lol and its 1-2 ft not 3-4 ft
This supposed to be current snow depth? I’m 7 miles south of pine stump and we’ve gotten well over 2 foot in the last 48 hours alone. There’s way more than 50” out there. Way more than 75 even.
