LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 01/11
Marenisco crews out tonight getting Trail 1 all cleaned up. It’s in pretty decent condition overall with the recent snow. Groomed from Copps Tower Rd all the way down to Presque Isle. Trail 100 was also groomed today, it’s a bit rough and icy but rideable. It’s getting better folks, keep doing the snow dances!!

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Scott's Superior Inn and Cabins >> A Ride to Remember with a True Trail Legend Some rides are just special, and today was one of them. I had the privilege of hitting the trails with none other than Rick, our very own “Trail Boss.” Rick has been riding from our hotel for over 35 years—long before I ever got on a sled myself. In fact, he used to watch me hop on the school bus in the mornings before heading out on his own ride. Today, we made our way to Victoria Falls, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the trails, the snow-covered trees, and the crisp winter air. There’s no better way to experience the backcountry than with someone who knows these trails like the back of his hand. Riding with an OG like Rick reminds me why we love this sport—it’s about the adventure, the people, and the places that keep calling us back year after year. Here’s to many more miles and memories on the trails! #ontonagon #westernup#snowphotos... See MoreSee Less

Too bad that color is 40-50 inches, not 50-75 lol and its 1-2 ft not 3-4 ft
This supposed to be current snow depth? I’m 7 miles south of pine stump and we’ve gotten well over 2 foot in the last 48 hours alone. There’s way more than 50” out there. Way more than 75 even.
