Trail Report Posted
https://www.algersorva.com/trailreport/1-11-2025/

High Traffic in the area. Groomers are out there. Please ride with caution.

Sorry the report is so late. Passed out this morn before posting.
Had to catch up on sleep. Heading out in groomer now for the evening.

Should have some better pics tomorrow.

Please feel free to post pictures in the comments.

A picture speaks a lot more than words.

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> We are still helping out our neighbors to the east. Made another run for them and us last night. We groomed trail 8 to m94, 7 up to Christmas, 417 up to the Brownstone, and 418 over to AuTrain, then back on 8 down to Rumely. The new snow is really helping the trail. No grooming is being done on 418 west of the Brownstone yet due to lack of snow. We will continue to help out S.O.R.V.A. as long as we have people to operate the groomer. This has been our greatest task this year. Getting help. Anyone interested in learning how to groom, we could use more people. As always, ride right, ha e fun, and be safe out there. #munising #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Light to moderate lake effect snow will persist through much of the day before diminishing early Wednesday morning. Take caution if traveling along M-28 today. Gusty winds and lake effect snow could reduce visibility at times, especially during this morning's commute.
Otherwise, after a fairly quiet Wednesday, active weather returns during the late week.

The Bison is in the groomer barn with the John Deere 6175.
Both are being worked on side by side.
So far it looks like the Deere is going to be back up before the Bison.
We are doing all we can to ensure we are getting these groomers back on the trail ASAP. The trails have been holding up and our neighbor clubs are going above and beyond. TNT, Big Bay De Noc, Schoolcraft...... we owe you several beers at least.
Sorry no real trail pictures - the groomers are slacking on sending in pictures. I can share pictures of piles of parts and tools but will spare you. #munisingTrail Report Posted
