Baldwin Area Trail Report – 01/21

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 01/21

1/21 update: We are finally getting up and back to grooming. With several inches of snow throughout most of our trail system. 3 of our tractors were out today with the exception of the Newaygo tractor as snow is still too thin down there. Please keep up your ❄️ dances. It looks like a good clipper with lake enhancement, is coming in tomorrow with 4-6” forecasted throughout our system! Our whole trail system should be in good shape for our open house on Saturday!

Please join us at our clubhouse beginning at noon, more details are available in our events and in previous posts. Please reach out with any questions.

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 1/20 update: Well, we finally have the brutal cold we need to build that solid base but need more snow to go with it! The only section with enough snow to groom today is trail 19 out towards Hart and that groomer should be out tonight and/or tomorrow after a needed repair. The southern and middle sections (3,320 and 324) are thin and snirty but should be rideable. If we get a couple more inches of snow throughout the system we should be able to get up and grooming with all 4 tractors! The north section (3 &35) is probably in the best shape and should be able to be groomed tomorrow as long as snow keeps coming. The rail trail from baldwin to Reed City (trail 30) is very thin with rocks starting to pop through so we cant groom that until we get a few inches of snow to work with. Please ride safe, ride right, stay warm, and ride sober. Keep up the snow dances! TRSC Secretary Brian #baldwinarea #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
