TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> 01/22 Its currently snowing with a forecast of 1-3 tonight and 1-3 tomorrow. Groomer Pat did the north trail today. Pat says the trails are the best they have been so far. There flat, smooth and white. He says come out and get some. Groomer Jeremy did the east run and said the trails look great. He reported that he had 3 inches of fresh snow near Kalkaska. Thanks guys for volunteering your time to groom our trails. I’ll update again tomorrow. This will lead to any wetness re-freezing on area roadways, which could lead to icy roadways and/or black ice formation tonight through Friday morning. Back roads, which became slushy today will refreeze as well, leading to complicated driving conditions.
