KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Snowmobile Club >> 01/29 Due to high winds the team is reporting that things across our system in the Keweenaw groomed out beautifully BUT there is HEAVY drifting in many areas. Riders should be able to enjoy their ride out to the point now! SN❄W, More SN❄W-and SN❄W has been the story here in the Keweenaw and today is no different. Excuse the clarity of the photo, but this is what it currently looks like! White is all you see! We are under another winter weather advisory and forecasted to receive an additional 3-8 inches, with isolated areas forecasted up to 10. If you were riding yesterday, you know that at times visibility was absolutely zero. The same is happening today! Please ride with extra caution! It is also very windy and there is significant driftKrupps Resortof trails. You may also encounter large branches etc that have fallen. Snow showers end this afternoon over the west and diminish over the east into this evening. Dry weather does not last long as another round of light snow clips the UP tonight, best chances over the north.
