Harbor Springs Trail Report – 01/29
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/29 Groomer operators Cody & Dale were out yesterday cleaning up after the storm & making our trails flat again. Everything was done except for the Cross Village loop (Trail 710 & 71 from Niswander Rd) and the part of the Alanson trail (71 from Krump rd to Trail 7). Overall the trails are in great shape, the best they’ve been in years! Temperatures are supposed to be above freezing tomorrow & on Sunday, let’s hope that does happen and if it does let’s hope it stays cloudy. <> <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Perhaps a few lingering light snow showers this morning across the eastern upper peninsula. Otherwise, a brief “mild” and generally quiet spell is expected through Friday. Partly sunny and colder Saturday. Snow is expected to develop Saturday night and continue into Sunday morning. The snow may mix with or end as rain later Sunday.
