ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Scott’s Superior Inn and Cabins >> 01/30 A Ride to Remember with a True Trail Legend Some rides are just special, and today was one of them. I had the privilege of hitting the trails with none other than Rick, our very own “Trail Boss.” Rick has been riding from our hotel for over 35 years—long before I ever got on a sled myself. In fact, he used to watch me hop on the school bus in the mornings before heading out on his own ride. Today, we made our way to Victoria Falls, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the trails, the snow-covered trees, and the crisp winter air. There’s no better way to experience the backcountry than with someone who knows these trails like the back of his hand. Riding with an OG like Rick reminds me why we love this sport—it’s about the adventure, the people, and the places that keep calling us back year after year. Expect warm highs today in the 30s to mid 40s! Next is 102 and hopefully 13n again. Multiple driver's have stepped up to relieve the other operators. Sorry, we don't have pictures to share. These guy's are running hard!! We're doing our best. Dry weather does not last long as another round of light snow clips the UP tonight, best chances over the north.
