KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> 02/03 Did you know that Copper Range Railroad abandoned the corridor in 1972 and the DNR took over in 1974 allowing us to have the trails for use! Many spots you can see what is left of the mining days! We average 300” a year of snow & we are past half way! There are times I & other have rode sleds into May! Ideal in May, maybe not but still enough to ride haha Trails do close April 1st, tho you can ride trail 3.
